Product Description

Five-layer hydrocellular dressing developed for the prevention of pressure ulcers and the treatment of wounds in the sacral region.

Prepare the area: Clean the intact skin. Thoroughly dry the surrounding skin. Ensure the skin is free of dimethicone, scales, and emollients. It is not necessary to place a skin protector under the dressing. 1. Area to be protected. Assess the patient's anatomy and determine proper dressing placement. 2. Once the skin is prepared, remove the center liner by gently pulling on the pink edge. 3. Keep the buttocks apart. Apply the dressing to the sacral region and the upper part of the intergluteal cleft, positioning the “base” of the dressing so that it covers the coccyx. 4. Remove the side lines and gently smooth each side into place. 5. Setting the product. 6. Press and smooth the dressing to ensure that the entire dressing makes contact with the skin.

Thanks to the exclusive Deep Defense® and Safetac® technology, this dressing offers maximum protection against pressure, shear and friction, while maintaining an optimal healing environment. ✔️Treatment of moderately to highly exudative wounds: Used for pressure ulcers and post-surgical wounds, especially after excision of pilonidal cysts. ✔️Prevention of pressure ulcers: Applied as prophylaxis in at-risk patients, such as immobilized or intensive care patients, it significantly reduces the incidence of pressure ulcers by up to 88% when combined with standard prevention protocols.

Placeholder content for this accordion, which is intended to demonstrate the .accordion-flush class. This is the third item's accordion body. Nothing more exciting happening here in terms of content, but just filling up the space to make it look, at least at first glance, a bit more representative of how this would look in a real-world application.
