Product Description

Relief from pain and itching in the external auditory canal.

1. Wash your hands and unscrew the bottle cap.

2. Tilt your head or lie on your side so that the ear where you will apply the product is facing upwards.

3. Gently pull the earlobe (lower part of the ear canal) in the opposite direction from your neck.

4. Place the uncovered bottle of FAES CalmaDOL upside down and squeeze both sides so that 2 drops of the product are applied to the ear.

5. Keep your head tilted for a few minutes so that the drops penetrate the ear canal.

6. Remove excess liquid with a clean cloth.

7. It is recommended to cover the external auditory canal with cotton wool after application. This is especially recommended for children.

8. Replace the bottle cap.

Dosage:

Adults and children over 6 months of age: 2 drops in each ear, up to 3 times a day maximum.

Children aged 6 months to 12 years: Apply exclusively under the supervision of an adult or doctor. In children, the ear should be protected with cotton.

If there is no improvement after 3 days or if it worsens, consult your doctor.

Oti FAES CalmaDOL is contraindicated in babies under 6 months of age.

FAES CalmaDOL ear drops contain 0.5% glycerol and lidocaine and are indicated for the relief of pain and itching in the external auditory canal. Their action is based on the osmotic properties of their main component, glycerol. Glycerol is used in ear drops primarily due to two of its characteristics:

Its oily consistency allows it to adhere smoothly to the skin of the external auditory canal at the application site, providing a protective effect; and

Its hygroscopicity, which, when administered topically, helps eliminate water from inflamed tissues (osmotic effect), helping to reduce inflammation and, as a result, promoting pain and itching relief.

Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, is used for pain relief and complements the action of glycerol.

oti FAES CalmaDOL are ear drops in a multidose bottle containing 7g of solution, suitable for use in adults and children from 6 months of age. Class III medical device.

oti FAES CalmaDOL has a triple action:
- Reduces inflammation
- Relieves pain and itching
- Protects the external auditory canal

Warnings: oti FAES CalmaDOL should only be used after an otological examination performed by a doctor. It is especially important for children under 3 years of age to have a medical evaluation before using the product, in order to avoid pain masking other pathologies and delaying their treatment. There is no evidence that oti FAES CalmaDOL drops are harmful during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, you should consult your doctor before applying oti FAES CalmaDOL if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, in order to assess whether the foreseeable benefits of oti FAES CalmaDOL outweigh the potential risk. If symptoms intensify or do not improve after three days of using oti FAES CalmaDOL, or if you have a fever, contact your doctor. Prolonged pain or swelling may be an indication of a bacterial or fungal infection, which may require other more appropriate treatment.

Possible undesirable effects: oti FAES CalmaDOL is well tolerated and there are no known undesirable effects after use. In case of allergy or other undesirable effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist and stop applying the drops. Follow the instructions for use of oti FAES CalmaDOL.

Nothing more exciting happening here in terms of content, but just filling up the space to make it look, at least at first glance, a bit more representative of how this would look in a real-world application.
