1. Clean and dry the outside of the ear
2. Shape the plug to obtain the shape of a ball
3. Place the earplug at the entrance of the ear and flatten it to prevent air from entering - do not insert it into the ear canal, simply cover the canal
4. To remove the plug, press behind the ear
